Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming, especially when your child, teen, or family is already going through a difficult time. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and understood from the very first session.

I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional and behavioral challenges, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. I have a special interest in supporting gifted and talented children, adoptees, and families as they work through the unique experiences and challenges that can come with those identities.

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, I take time to understand each person’s strengths, experiences, and goals so we can build meaningful and lasting change together. Whether we’re helping a child develop emotional regulation skills, supporting parents through challenging seasons, or helping adults heal from past experiences, I tailor therapy to meet each person’s individual needs.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and evidence-based. Depending on your goals, I may incorporate techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, and other trauma-informed approaches.

I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder and my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Regis University. Before joining Gahanna Counseling, I worked in community mental health and private practice, gaining experience supporting individuals and families across a wide range of concerns.

Whether you’re looking for support for yourself, your child, or your family, I’d be honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing, resilience, and hope.
