Danielle Ruben
MSW, LISW-S, LICDC
I’m Danielle Ruben, LISW-S, and I’ve spent more than 20 years helping adolescents and adults navigate life’s challenges with support, compassion, and practical tools for change. I work with individuals ages 12 and older on the east side of Columbus, specializing in anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, burnout, life transitions, relationship challenges, and work-life balance.
I especially enjoy working with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, uncertain, or frustrated by patterns that keep getting in the way of the life they want. Many of my clients come to therapy looking for guidance, support, and practical strategies to help them feel more confident, balanced, and successful in their daily lives.
I believe each person is the expert on their own life and experiences. My role is to provide clinical guidance, support, and perspective to help clients better understand themselves, work through challenges, and build healthier patterns that align with their goals and values.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I’m EMDR trained and use evidence-based approaches including Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based therapy to help clients build resilience, improve coping skills, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy should feel approachable and supportive, not intimidating.
Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, stress, relationships, burnout, self-doubt, or simply trying to find direction, I’ll work alongside you to help you move forward with greater confidence and emotional well-being.
