I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW). I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at the University of Dayton and then went on to receive my Master’s in Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Pittsburgh.  I have experience working in Outpatient and Residential settings focusing on both substance use and mental health.

I work with kids, teens, and adults ages 12 and older who are struggling with anxiety, depression, lack of motivation, communication struggles, and life transitions, such as college transitions, burnout, changes in relationships and other life stressors. I am able to incorporate family therapy as needed to best help clients feel heard and understood.  Many of my clients come to me looking for a safe space to talk through their thoughts in order to come up with more effective ways to manage daily life.

My approach is unique to each client. I often inform my treatment with techniques from different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing to better manage overthinking and distress in daily life. I look forward to creating a positive, comfortable space where all feel welcome. I will work to empower my clients to learn skills to implement outside of sessions. I believe that having a safe environment to express emotions and thoughts is key to therapy and will create strong therapeutic bonds to aid clients in achieving their goals and strengthening their mental health.

I offer therapy in Ohio via telehealth and in-person sessions in the Gahanna/Columbus area.
